Lecturers Receive Expert Feedback During Day Three Manuscript Clinic
The third day of the Visiting Top Professor program at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), was specially dedicated to lecturers through an intensive session focused on academic publication and manuscript development. As part of the Academic Mastery Program: From AI-Enhanced Learning to High-Impact Research Writing, the day provided valuable support for lecturers seeking to strengthen their research output and publication readiness.
The session was led by Prof. Jessie Barrot, Ph.D., Full Professor and Vice President for Research and Development at National University, Philippines. Through a practical and engaging approach, Prof. Barrot guided participants on how to improve the quality of academic manuscripts, develop stronger arguments, respond to reviewers’ comments, and prepare papers for reputable international journals. The session also offered insights into current trends in scholarly publishing and strategies for increasing research impact.
One of the highlights of the day was the manuscript clinic, where lecturers had the opportunity to discuss their own research papers directly with the expert. This personalized session created a productive and supportive atmosphere, allowing participants to receive constructive feedback and practical suggestions for revision. By dedicating the third day to lecturers, FBS UNESA reaffirmed its commitment to advancing academic excellence and encouraging high-quality research publications among its faculty members.
