Welcoming International Students
Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) officially welcomed a group of international students in a special ceremony hosted by the International Office (KUI) and attended by Vice Rector IV. This moment marked the beginning of the 2025 academic exchange program, where foreign students will join classes and cultural learning activities at Unesa.
As part of this initiative, the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) plays a central role, especially through BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing). Here, international students learn the Indonesian language and culture in depth, strengthening Unesa’s commitment to advancing the global recognition of Indonesian language and literature.
This year, several students from China will study Indonesian language and literature for one or two semesters at FBS. In addition, students from Central China Normal University (CCNU) will join the English Literature Study Program to study English language and literature, creating opportunities for intercultural exchange and collaboration.
The learning activities are scheduled to begin after September 11, 2025. With this program, Unesa continues to strengthen its international partnerships, while providing a multicultural academic environment that benefits both local and international students.
