Nagoya University Program for Academic Exchange (NUPACE) is a short-term student exchange program that was launched in 1996. International students enrolled at Nagoya University’s partner institutions are given the opportunity to study in Japan for four to twelve months. The programme aims to forge friendships that extend beyond borders, internationalise through education, and motivate overseas students to pursue more extensive studies with regard to Japan. The NUPACE academic year runs from late September to August of the following year, and students are offered a choice of two admission periods: late September or early April.

Students of the English Department-Universitas Negeri Surabaya, especially English Literature Study Program, have consistently won this scholarship, except in 2018, in which a student from English Education got the scholarship. Previously, students from semester 6-8 got it. This year is the first time we have three students from semester 4 winning the scholarship.

Congratulations Cynthia Lailanisa Soegiono, Lintang Novitasari, and Dinda Ayu Pratiwi for being chosen for the Nagoya University Program for Academic Exchange (NUPACE)!
