In the line with the graduate profiles, the program educational objectives are set as follows:

  1. to produce literary and nonliterary critic, literary and non-literary editor, copyeditor, print and electronic media journalist, copywriters, literary and non-literary writers, and translators who master the concepts of English linguistics and literature.
  2. to produce literary and non-literary critic, literary and non-literary editor, copyeditor, print and electronic media journalist, copywriters, literary and non-literary writers, and translators who master the concepts of English linguistics and literature by using high order reasoning skills to produce creative, innovative, original, and multicultural-minded works and to be able to communicate responsibly and uphold moral values through oral and written forms.
  3. to produce graduates who are able to develop themselves and to carry out lifelong independent learning by continuing their education to the next level or through continuous professional development and developing networks in professional communities.
